The Spider Shield is among the few shield items for the Battle Royale version of the Fortnite game. This cosmetic item was released for the 2018 Halloween event.

The Spider Shield features a giant black spider carapace that is redesigned to be a shield. This shield item is strapped on the player’s back when equipped. The black spider shield features bright red eyes and sharp edges. Although it is a shield item, equipping this back bling does not provide any added protection or benefit to the wearer.

Spider Shield is a bonus back bling item of the legendary male avatar skin called Spider Knight. Both the Spider Knight and the Spider Shield are a part of the spider-themed set called Arachnid.
